Forney, Texas, offers the best of both worlds: ready access to all that’s great about Dallas-Fort Worth, but with the quiet suburban charms of a warm and welcoming community. This Independence Day, share your patriotic spirit with your neighbors at one of these great community events.
Volunteer Work
Not everyone loves fireworks, and some people like to show their commitment to their country and their community by giving back. Try one of these great options:
- Volunteer at the Forney Food Pantry to ensure everyone eats a great meal this 45th of July.
- Comfort animals afraid of fireworks at Forney County Animal Control. Or better yet, consider bringing home a new pet, and giving an abandoned animal a second chance at a great life.
- Check out one of the many volunteer opportunities in Forney on Volunteer Match. There’s something for everyone, including children and family groups.
